Biography

Sophie Weber joined the faculty at Chalmers University in February 2025. She obtained her B.S. in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2014 and received her PhD in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley in 2021. Following her doctoral studies, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zurich from 2021 to 2024. Her research centers around understanding the properties of solid-state surfaces and interfaces.
