Dr. Søren Wandahl

Biography

Søren Wandahl is a Professor and Deputy Head of the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering at Aarhus University. He leads a research group focused on construction management and is a principal investigator on several research grants, including GREEN-TRACK, Construction Management 2.0, and ReVALUE. With a core competence in construction management, his research is nationally and internationally recognized, particularly in the areas of Construction Labour Productivity and Lean Construction. He has previously served as head of a section for six years, during which he oversaw significant staff growth. Wandahl is actively involved in numerous projects aimed at advancing sustainable practices in construction, and he is committed to enhancing job satisfaction among construction workers. He has contributed to several peer-reviewed manuscripts and serves on evaluation panels for academic assessments. Throughout his career, he has been engaged in activities to promote lean construction practices and to improve productivity within the industry. Wandahl's extensive experience and expertise mark him as a significant contributor to advancements in construction research and management practices.
