Dr. Sorin Krammer

Biography

Sorin Krammer is a Professor of Strategy and International Business at Southampton Business School. Prior to joining Southampton, Sorin held a full professorship in Strategy and International Business at the University of Surrey, and was an Associate Professor at the University of Leeds. He has also served as an Assistant Professor of International Economics and Business at the University of Groningen. Krammer is currently an Otto Mønsted Visiting Professor at the Department of Strategy and Innovation at Copenhagen Business School, and has previously held visiting positions at prestigious institutions including the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University and the Sloan School of Management at MIT. His research focuses on the intersection of International Strategy and Innovation Management, specifically examining the dynamics of innovation in transitional economies across Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Sorin has been involved as an expert consultant on projects for the World Bank, targeting innovation and international competitiveness in underdeveloped countries. He serves on the editorial boards of several prominent journals and holds leadership roles in professional organizations such as the Academy of International Business.
