Biography

Soumen Ghosh is the Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Research and a Professor of Operations Management at the Scheller College of Business at Georgia Tech. He has published over 100 papers in scholarly journals, with research focusing on supply chain flexibility and the alignment of competitive strategies with supply chain capabilities. He is a Fellow of the Decision Sciences Institute and has received multiple awards at academic conferences for his research contributions. Ghosh earned his Ph.D. in Operations Management and an M.S. in Industrial Systems Engineering from Ohio State University, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology in India.
