Biography

Spencer Szczesny is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Penn State University. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Applied Mechanics from the University of Pennsylvania, obtained in 2003. He completed his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2005 and earned his Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 2015. His contributions to the field have been recognized, including the CMBE Rising Star Award from the Biomedical Engineering Society in January 2022.
