Biography

Stacey Cooper McMath is a Senior Consultant at Webb Management, an arts management consulting practice that provides advisory services to governments, arts organizations, grantmakers, and universities. With over 20 years of experience in the public sector, she specializes in policy, grantmaking, cultural research, evaluation, and strategic initiatives. Before joining Webb Management, Stacey served as the Director of Programs Unit at the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs for eight years, where she administered a $28 million Cultural Development Fund and implemented significant equity reforms within the fund. She was also a collaborator on New York City’s cultural plan, CreateNYC, and led research initiatives on workforce demographics and the impact of Covid-19 on the arts sector. In 2020, she was named a Women Power Leadership Fellow at the Belfer Center for Innovation at the 92nd Street Y. Currently, Stacey is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Theatre at Bard College’s NYC Campus. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Theater Management and Producing from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in American History from Barnard College.
