Biography

Stana Zivanovic rejoined the University of Warwick in 2023 after five years at the University of Exeter. She has also worked at the University of Sheffield and the University of Belgrade. Stana is a member of the School's Education Committee and the University's Finance General Purposes Committee, as well as serving as the Academic Integrity Manager in the School of Engineering. Her research focuses on modeling human-induced dynamic loading on civil infrastructure, with particular interests in human-structure interactions and human responses to vibration stimuli. She is involved in projects that investigate lightweight structures such as fibre-reinforced polymer, composite, and aluminum structures. Additionally, Stana is actively collaborating with biomechanics experts to study kinematics and kinetics related to human locomotion under vibration perturbations. She has guest-edited special issues and is an Associate Editor for several journals, enhancing the interface between structural engineering and civil engineering practices.
