Biography

Stanley Chan is an accomplished academic specializing in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Hong Kong in 2007, followed by a Master of Arts in Mathematics from the University of California, San Diego in 2009. He further pursued his Doctorate in Electrical Engineering at the University of California, San Diego, completing it in 2011. Dr. Chan also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University from 2012 to 2014. He serves as the Elmore Professor and area chair at the Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University. His research interests include image restoration, computational photography, photon-limited imaging, and statistical signal processing.
