Biography

Stef van Weeghel is a Professor of International Tax Law at the University of Amsterdam and the director of the Amsterdam Centre Tax Law. He graduated from the University of Leiden with degrees in Business Law and Tax Law, later obtaining an LLM in Taxation from New York University. His doctoral dissertation focused on the improper use of tax treaties. Since his appointment as a professor in 2000, he has authored and co-authored numerous publications on international taxation.
