Biography

Stefan Bernritter is an Associate Professor in Marketing at King’s Business School, where he directs the MSc Digital Marketing program. Prior to joining King’s, he held positions as a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at Goldsmiths, University of London, and as an Assistant Professor in Marketing Communication at the Amsterdam School of Communication Research, University of Amsterdam. With a PhD in Marketing Communication from the University of Amsterdam, Stefan's research primarily explores consumer-brand interactions in a rapidly evolving media landscape. His work addresses significant challenges and opportunities arising from innovative digital technologies and covers areas such as Mobile Marketing, Gaming, and AI in Advertising. He has published numerous articles in leading academic journals including the Journal of Academy Marketing Science and the International Journal of Research in Marketing. Stefan serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Interactive Marketing and holds editorial positions in several prestigious advertising journals. He has received accolades from the European Advertising Academy and the International Communication Association, among others, for his contributions to marketing research. Currently, he is accepting new PhD students.
