Dr. Stefan Huber

Biography

Stefan Huber is a professor at the Department of Chemical and Bioengineering at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. His research focuses on various aspects of technical thermodynamics, including basic investigations into complex molecules, particle formation, and combustion processes. He emphasizes the development and application of optical measurement techniques, predominantly laser-based methods, to enhance energy and engineering processes. The LTT, which he leads, promotes partnerships with national and international collaborators in academia and industry, aiming to push the boundaries of knowledge in thermodynamic applications. The LTT also offers a broad array of courses related to energy technology and thermal transfer.
