Stefan G Kostadinov graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Trakia University in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. He is board certified by the American Board of Pathology in both Anatomical and Pediatric Pathology. His research interests focus on fetal placental pathology, emphasizing fetal growth restriction, stillbirth, and related placental abnormalities and their clinical correlates. Dr. Kostadinov has extensive teaching involvement, engaging with medical students and pathology, pediatric, obstetric gynecology, and maternal-fetal medicine residents and fellows. He currently serves as the Director of the Don B. Singer Fellowship in Developmental Perinatal Pathology at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
