Biography

Dr. Stefan Kycia is a Professor and Department Chair in the Department of Physics at the University of Guelph. He obtained his PhD in Condensed Matter Physics from Iowa State University in 1995. Dr. Kycia has also been involved in developing the Brockhouse Sector X-Ray Diffraction Scattering at the Canadian Light Source, supporting a diverse community of researchers from multiple disciplines. His work has earned him recognition, including roles in several advisory committees and grants aimed at advancing material science research.
