Dr. Stefan Sottiaux

Biography

Stefan Sottiaux is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law at KU Leuven. Before joining Leuven, Stefan obtained a Magister Juris from the University of Oxford in 2000 and a Doctorate in Law from the University of Antwerp in 2006. He has also been affiliated as a visiting fellow at the Harvard Law School Human Rights Program in 2006. His research areas include federalism, comparative human rights law, discrimination law, and judicial decision-making methods. He teaches various courses at the faculty, including public law, human rights, and discrimination law. Stefan is also a member of the Antwerp Bar.
