Biography

Prof. Stefanie Jung is a Professor of Corporate Law at the Technical University of Munich, where she conducts research on legal issues relevant to family enterprises. Her areas of research include European company law, contract negotiations, contract governance, business networks, corporate governance, and legal methodology, with a focus on aspects of digitalization and sustainability. Prof. Jung obtained her degrees in German and European Business Law from the University of Siegen and ESC Dijon, and later completed a postgraduate Master in European Economic Integration at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium. She received her doctorate in European company law from the University of Siegen in 2013 and has since held positions such as Junior Professor of Civil Law and Corporate Law at the University of Siegen and Visiting Fellow at the Classical Liberal Institute of New York University. Furthermore, she has been a visiting lecturer at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, focusing on contract negotiations. Currently, she is involved in research at the Global Center for Family Enterprise at TUM.
