Biography

Stefano Prandi studied at Bologna University under notable figures such as Ezio Raimondi and Umberto Eco. He obtained his PhD, supervised by Ezio Raimondi, and subsequently worked as a teacher in a secondary school for several years. In 1996, he became a researcher at Piemonte Orientale University. From 2001 to 2017, Prandi served as a full professor of Italian Literature at the University of Bern. In 2017, he was appointed as the Director of the Istituto di studi italiani.
