Biography

Stephane Levy is an adjunct professor at the Cornell Law School and a partner at Cooley LLP, where he is a member of the Business department, specifically focusing on the Emerging Companies and Venture Capital practice groups. Mr. Levy joined Cooley in 2009 and works out of the New York office, concentrating his practice on emerging growth technology companies. In addition to advising clients on general corporate matters, he is heavily involved in a variety of transactions that represent technology and life sciences companies, as well as venture capital firms leading investments and investment banks on numerous private and public offerings of securities, mergers, and acquisitions. Before joining Cooley, Mr. Levy was a corporate associate at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman. He also served as a Stimson Pro Bono Fellow, practicing International Environmental Law in Bonn, Germany. Mr. Levy received his Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) and LLB degrees from McGill University in 1998 and 2002, respectively.
