Stephanie Begun is an Associate Professor and RBC Chair in Applied Social Work Research at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto. She completed her doctoral training at the University of Denver's Graduate School of Social Work, where her dissertation focused on family planning attitudes, experiences, and social network influences on youth experiencing homelessness. In addition, Stephanie holds positions as a Cross-Appointed Affiliated Faculty at the Munk School of Global Affairs and as a Faculty Affiliate at the School of Cities at the University of Toronto. She is also the Director of the Social Work Research Contraception Abortion Research Team (CART-GRAC) based at the University of British Columbia.
