Biography

Stéphanie Bernier is an assistant professor in the Department of French Literatures at the Université de Montréal since 2020. After obtaining her Ph.D. from the Université de Sherbrooke, where she received the award for the best doctoral thesis in the humanities and social sciences, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at McGill University. She participated in the editing project of Louis Dantin's correspondence and co-directed the publication of several collective works, including 'Nouveaux regards sur nos lettres. La correspondance d’écrivain et d’artiste au Québec' and 'Le livre comme art: matérialité et sens'. Her research focuses on literary mentorship in Quebec, epistolary literature, and the archives of writers.
