Her current research program investigates psychosocial predictors of bariatric surgery outcomes, the potential of psychosocial interventions to improve these outcomes, and utilizes approaches such as motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy. Additionally, she explores healthcare innovations aimed at increasing treatment access, including telephone-based and web-based interventions.
