Biography

Dr. Stephanie Chambers is a Senior Lecturer in Urban Studies and Social Policy at the University of Glasgow, where she is also an associate in the School of Health and Wellbeing. Her research focuses on improving health, particularly in children's health. She is a member of the School of Health and Wellbeing’s Social Scientists Health group and was previously part of the MRC/CSO Social Public Health Sciences Unit, holding an MRC/University of Glasgow Research Fellowship. She has held various prestigious positions and grants, including a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Dundee and has contributed significantly to research on school food education and dietary interventions. She teaches qualitative methods and health inequalities and supervises undergraduate and postgraduate research in related fields.
