Dr. Stephanie Massaro

Biography

Stephanie Massaro, MD, MPH, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine, with specialization in Hematology and Oncology. She obtained her medical degree from Albany Medical College and completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Maryland Medical Center Hospital for Children. Dr. Massaro has completed subspecialty fellowship training in Pediatric Hematology Oncology at Yale University. Board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, her clinical and research interests focus primarily on diagnosing and treating pediatric blood cancers, including acute lymphoblastic leukemia and acute myeloid leukemia. Furthermore, she has established and directs the Pediatric Palliative Care Program at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital. Dr. Massaro serves on various committees and organizations and is involved in several clinical trials aimed at improving outcomes for children with blood-related malignancies. She is committed to providing the highest quality of care and has a deep understanding of the need for comprehensive support for families facing serious medical challenges.
