Biography

Stephanie Ong received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Toronto in 2001 and continued her training as a pharmacy resident at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. In 2010, Ong completed a Masters of Science in Health Informatics. Her main research interests include developing and implementing digital tools to promote healthcare delivery models for patients with chronic diseases and enhancing pharmacy practice to improve medication management. Currently, Ong works as a clinical pharmacist in nephrology at the University Health Network (UHN) and is actively involved in ambulatory renal clinics. In her clinical role, she leads clinical projects within the Division of Nephrology focused on developing and implementing digital tools to promote chronic kidney disease (CKD) care within healthcare delivery. Ong's projects have been presented extensively at national and international conferences.
