Dr. Stephanie Powell

Biography

Stephanie K. Powell is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University. She specializes in Child Psychology and has a focus on pediatric neuropsychology. Dr. Powell earned her PhD from the University of Wisconsin in 2006. She completed her postgraduate internship in Clinical Psychology at the University of Minnesota Medical Center and later completed a fellowship in Pediatric Neuropsychology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2007. Her professional affiliations include being a Fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology and a member of the International Neuropsychological Society. In her role, Dr. Powell contributes to various committees such as the AACN Equity Forum and the Clinical Neuropsychology Collaborative on Childhood Cancers. She is actively involved in clinical research aimed at improving patient care and safety for pediatric patients, collaborating with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to advance scientific breakthroughs in her field.
