Stephanie Swindle Thomas has built a career that combines her degrees in Art History with multimedia skills and a passion for arts advocacy. Her photographs have been featured in exhibitions, and she has collaborated with artists, musicians, and directors on various arts-related projects worldwide. As a teacher and mentor, she emphasizes experiential learning and engaged empathy. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, she is a third-generation musician and has worked with organizations like the Blues Foundation and Metal Museum before joining Penn State, where she contributes to the Palmer Museum of Art. Additionally, she is a published fiction writer and leads a virtual writers' group as well as storytelling workshops.
