Dr. Stephen Hicks

Biography

Stephen Hicks is an independent research fellow and proleptic lecturer focusing on Environmental Seismology at University College London. His research extensively covers high-impact scientific problems in geophysics and seismology, including deciphering earthquake rupture processes and monitoring critical changes in the Earth's surface environment. Hicks has been awarded the prestigious NERC Independent Research Fellowship and the European Geoscience Union’s Outstanding Early Career Scientist Prize for his contributions to innovative seismic imaging techniques and community science communication.
