Biography

Stephen B. Wicker is a Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University. His research primarily focuses on wireless information systems and the development of technologies that secure the nation's critical infrastructure. He has supervised 41 doctoral dissertations and has been recognized for his teaching excellence with multiple awards including the Cornell College of Engineering Teaching Award in 1998, 2009, and 2012, as well as the 2000 Cornell School of Electrical and Computer Engineering Teaching Award. In 2011, he was made a Fellow of the IEEE for his significant contributions to the field.
