Biography

Dr. Stephen S. Yang is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Surgical Interventional Sciences at McGill University. He completed his Medical Degree and Anesthesiology residency at McGill University, followed by subspecialty training in Critical Care Fellowship at McGill. He also holds an MSc in Health Research Methodology specializing in clinical epidemiology from McMaster University and has pursued fellowship training in Perioperative Medicine Research at the Population Health Research Institute. Dr. Yang's research interests predominantly focus on perioperative medicine, hemodynamic changes during the perioperative period, advanced hemodynamic monitoring of high-risk surgical patients, and postoperative outcomes. Additionally, he is the Director of Research in the Department of Anesthesia at the Jewish General Hospital. He is currently involved in supervising M.Sc. and Ph.D. students, particularly in non-thesis projects, and is recruiting students for his research group.
