Steve Connor is an Honorary Reader in Head Neck Imaging and a Consultant Neuroradiologist at King’s College Hospital, London since 2002. He also holds an honorary post as a consultant head neck radiologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital. Promoted to Adjunct Reader in head neck imaging in 2019, he previously served as the past president of the British Society of Head and Neck Imaging (BSHNI). Connor is a visiting professor at the Royal College of Radiologists and the BSHNI. He has authored 180 peer-reviewed articles, has an h-index of 35, and has written seven book chapters. His main research interests include otology, head neck cancer, and skull base imaging. Connor is the chief investigator on studies related to quantitative DWI-MRI predictions for treatment outcomes in head neck cancer, and DTI-MRI pre-operative identification of the facial nerve prior to vestibular schwannoma surgery, along with imaging for endolymphatic hydrops using ultra-high field MRI. He is an executive member of the European Society of Head and Neck Radiology and the Chair of the ESHNR Education Committee. He has also organized several national conferences and is involved in radiology training programs.
