Biography

Steve C. Han, MD, MBA, is an Assistant Professor at Boston University's Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine in the Department of Neurology. He completed his MD at the Boston University School of Medicine and earned his MBA from the Boston University Questrom School of Business. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Swarthmore College. Dr. Han has an extensive background in public health, having conducted research on patient satisfaction in homeless services and assisted with patient qualifications at Livingstone Free Clinic. His work in medical education includes organizing youth outreach programs to educate about neurology and creating video materials to improve medical literacy among post-stroke patients. He has received several awards for his research and contributions to the field, including the Neurology Residency Excellence Research Award from NYU Grossman School of Medicine and a fellowship scholarship from the Pan American Parkinson’s Disease Movement Disorders Congress. His research interests are in Antiparkinson Agents, Dystonia, Central Pontine Myelinolysis, Chronic Hepatitis B, and Pseudobulbar Palsy.
