Biography

Steve H. Hanke is a Professor of Applied Economics at Johns Hopkins University and co-director of the Institute for Applied Economics, Global Health, and the Study of Business Enterprise. He is a distinguished senior scholar at the Mises Institute and a senior fellow at the Independent Institute. Hanke has served as an adviser to numerous governments on issues related to economic policy and currency stabilization in countries including Argentina, Estonia, and Bulgaria.
