Biography

Steve S. Hu is a Professor at the UCLA School of Dentistry. He holds a Ph.D. from Wuhan University and an M.B.A. from UCLA Anderson School of Management. His research focuses on metabolomics, particularly the systems level study of metabolites in cells, biofluids, tissues, and organisms, as well as the related metabolic pathways and mechanisms. He teaches various courses at UCLA, including Advanced Oral Biology: Pathobiology and Molecular Cell Biology, and is involved in research and educational endeavors in the field of oral systemic health sciences.
