Biography

Steve Levitt is the William B. Ogden Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus in the Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics at the University of Chicago. He is known for his pioneering work in the application of economic theory to a variety of social issues including crime, corruption, and the criminal justice system.
