Biography

Steve Mostyn is an experienced designer and director of senior executive education programmes. His expertise lies in conceptual leadership and narrative processes, and he has been involved in the innovation of executive education at various providers. Steve has served as Adjunct Programme Director for Lancaster University Management School’s Innovation Executive Development programme and has directed the NHS Lothian Master’s Leadership Practice at Edinburgh Napier Business School, along with Standard Chartered Bank’s ‘Leading Boundaries’ programme. From 2005 to 2009, he was Head of Executive Development at RBS Business School and previously held the position of OD Executive Development Manager at Motorola University for ten years. Currently, he is an honorary teaching fellow at Lancaster University Management School since 2009 and an Honorary Visiting Teaching Fellow at Edinburgh Napier Business School. Steve is also the founder of Steve Mostyn Associates, which develops innovative solutions for organizations and business schools to cultivate senior leadership. He has contributed to London Business School’s MLab magazine. Steve holds a BA (Hons) in Politics and Sociology from the University of Reading and an MBA from the University of Central England. In 2003, he participated in the ODHRM programme at Columbia Graduate School of Business, and he is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development.
