Biography

Steven Lamontagne, MD, is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine at Boston University, specializing in General Internal Medicine. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where he also pursued a Fellowship in Nephrology. Currently, he serves as a Nephrologist and Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Berkshire Medical Center. Dr. Lamontagne has received several accolades for his contributions to medical education, including the Faculty Teaching Award from Berkshire Medical Center in 2013, the William Morgan Award from the University of Rochester Internal Medicine Program in 2007, and the Milton Luria Award in 2006. He is also recognized as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society.
