Biography

Steven Lee is an Associate Professor in the Department of History at the University of British Columbia. His research focuses on international relations, with a particular emphasis on the history of Cold War US-Korea relations. He has published a variety of works, including the books 'Outposts of Empire' (1996) and 'Korean War' (2001). He also co-edited the volume 'Transformations in Twentieth Century Korea,' which explores the economic, political, and cultural shifts in Korea during the late nineteenth century.
