Biography

Steven Paget is an Assistant Professor (Teaching) in Finance at the Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary. He has a robust background in investment banking, having worked at Calgary-based FirstEnergy Capital Corp. from 1998 to 2016, where he served as Director of Institutional Research. His expertise includes writing market research reports on energy infrastructure companies such as Enbridge Inc., TC Energy, Canadian National Railway, Pembina Pipeline, and Northland Power. He has also held positions with Enbridge Inc. and the Alberta Securities Commission. Prior to joining Haskayne, Steven was a sessional instructor at Mount Royal University starting in 2016. He holds a Master of Arts in Classical Studies from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in Classical History and Archaeology from the University of Calgary.
