Dr. Steven Pan

Biography

Steven Pan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the National University of Singapore. He holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. from the University of California, San Diego, and a B.A. from California State University, Los Angeles. His research primarily focuses on cognitive and educational psychology, particularly on evidence-based learning techniques and memory processes. Pan's work investigates conditions that improve the durability and flexibility of learning, including the practice of retrieval, interleaving study materials, and the application of educational technologies. He employs a multi-faceted approach incorporating laboratory experiments, classroom studies, surveys, and quantitative meta-analysis.
