Dr. Steven Sheng

Biography

Dr. Steven Sheng is a board-certified Obstetrician Gynecologist dedicated to women's health services, committed to providing high-quality compassionate care to patients. He was born in Beijing, China, and immigrated to the United States as a child, growing up in Long Island, New York. After completing his primary education, Dr. Sheng attended George Washington University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy with a minor in Biological Sciences. Following his undergraduate studies, he participated in the New York Teaching Fellows program, serving as an educator in New York City for several years before completing a Master's in Education at Queens College. He then attended the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he completed his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Sheng completed his residency and served as Chief Resident at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, New York. He is skilled in a range of gynecological care, including annual exams, preventive care, infertility counseling, management of sexually transmitted infections, and contraceptive management. He handles various pathological conditions and has admitting privileges to perform deliveries at NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital. Dr. Sheng is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
