Biography

Steven Vaughan is an Associate Professor and Clinical Director at the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Rice University in 2000, followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center Dental School in San Antonio in 2004. He completed a one-year Advanced General Dentistry Residency at the VA Medical Center in San Antonio. Since 2005, he has served as part-time faculty in the AEGD and GPR programs. Steven is a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry and is Board Certified in General Dentistry by the American Board of General Dentistry. He is a member of several professional organizations including the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
