Biography

Dr. Rorke, originally from Carbonear, Newfoundland, completed an honors degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology prior to his medical studies at Memorial University in St. John's, Newfoundland. He underwent Internal Medicine training at Memorial before entering a Medical Oncology Fellowship in London, Ontario. During his Fellowship, he received the CAMO resident research award for his work on anti-apoptosis in lung cancer. Currently, Dr. Rorke works at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre in St. John's, with main clinical interests in lung cancer, melanoma, and sarcoma.
