Biography

Stuart Diamond is one of the world's leading experts in negotiation, and his book, 'Getting More,' has sold more than a million copies, making it the largest-selling book on the subject, published in 2011. His negotiation course at Wharton has been sought after for the past 15 years. He was named Google’s Principal Negotiation Instructor, where the company adopted his new negotiation model, estimated to have generated an additional $4 billion in revenue since 2008. He has worked with the United States Special Operations and other elite military groups to promote stability in Afghanistan. 'Getting More' was named the #1 career book by the Wall Street Journal and was the top business bestseller in the U.S. prior to that, Diamond was a journalist for the New York Times and won a Pulitzer Prize for his part in investigating the Space Shuttle Columbia crash in 1986. He holds a law degree from Harvard, an MBA from Wharton, and has taught and advised corporate and government leaders in over 50 countries. His extensive experience includes securing the largest foreign-sourced commercial financing in Ukraine's history and encouraging 3,000 farmers in the Bolivian jungles to forsake coca for bananas. Diamond has also served as chairman of a high-tech company and co-owned an airline, among other ventures.
