Biography

Stuart Evans is a Distinguished Service Professor at the Integrated Innovation Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. He has extensive experience in the high-tech ecosystem of Silicon Valley, having worked with companies like SRI International and the Stanford Graduate School of Business. His professional background includes consulting for Bain & Company, investing with Sand Hill Venture Group, and holding executive roles within Shugart Corporation and Xerox. Before his tenure in Silicon Valley, Stuart taught at the Judge Business School at Cambridge University. A prolific author, he has published extensively on high-tech ventures, including his latest book, 'Super-Flexibility Knowledge Enterprises', which offers practical approaches for adapting to the dynamic nature of high-tech environments. This book is a culmination of 28 years of research and experience in the field, co-authored with Homa Bahrami from the University of California at Berkeley. His research interests encompass high-tech entrepreneurship, innovation, dynamic start-up strategies, venture financing, and enterprise innovation.
