He is actively involved in various prestigious editorial boards and is a key figure in the British Society of Gene & Cell Therapy, serving as General Secretary. Professor Nicklin's contributions to the field include significant work on gene therapy, viral vectors, and understanding mechanisms of action within cardiovascular contexts.
