Stuart Romm has taught graduate and undergraduate architectural design studios, alongside a range of practice courses, at the College of Design for 25 years. He is a founding principal of Atlanta architectural firms Praxis3 and Romm + Pearsall, which specialize in civic and educational buildings, as well as advanced automotive facilities and urban social housing. He has developed a special expertise in addressing the emerging intersections of media technologies and public space. His work includes the Georgia Tech Library Renewal Project and competition projects for the Center for Civil and Human Rights and CNN headquarters, both in collaboration with Diller Scofidio + Renfro in New York City. He has also served as lead designer on several award-winning projects, such as Fire Station 2 in Decatur, Georgia. In addition, he has been invited to present his projects at various conferences, including the CIB Tokyo Conference on 'Urban Regeneration' and the AIA National Convention on 'Everyday Urbanism'.
