Dr. Stuart Taylor

Biography

Stuart Taylor is a Lecturer in the School of Accounting at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) since early 2004. He completed his PhD titled 'Role Audit Partner Audit Fee Determination' at the Australian National University in 2005. Prior to joining UNSW, Stuart lectured in the Department of Finance at the University of Melbourne for nine years. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Tasmania, a Master of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, and a Graduate Diploma in Internet Web Computing from RMIT University. His main research interest revolves around audit fee determination and its correlation to audit quality outcomes, contributing valuable insights to the field of accounting. In addition to research, Stuart is actively involved in teaching and supervising courses such as ACCT3708 Auditing Assurance Services and ACCT3718 Auditing Assurance Services (Honours).
