Biography

Professor Winter undertook undergraduate medical training at the University of Bristol during which time he spent a further year gaining a BSc in Anatomy. He qualified as a doctor in 1997 and completed initial surgical training in the South West England Oxford region, gaining broad surgical experience. During this time, he taught Anatomy to medical students at the University of Oxford. He completed higher surgical training in Ear Nose Throat Surgery through the Oxford training programme. He is a recognized national expert in the treatment and management of head and neck tumors, and serves as Clinical Lead for Head Neck Surgery at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
