Biography

Dr. Sudeep Gill is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at Queen's University, with a cross-appointment in the Department of Public Health Sciences. He specializes in Geriatric Medicine, focusing on providing specialized geriatrics services at Providence Care, which includes both inpatient geriatric rehabilitation and outpatient geriatric medicine clinics. Dr. Gill is involved in undergraduate teaching roles, particularly in Clinical Skills and Critical Enquiry, and he supervises journal clubs for core Internal Medicine residents as well as a joint Geriatric Psychiatry and Geriatric Medicine journal club. He is a scientist at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences (ICES) and has previously served as Chair of the Providence Care Pharmacy Therapeutics Committee. He has also been a member of the Committee to Evaluate Drugs (CED) and an advisory committee for the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, where he has contributed to decisions regarding medications included in the province's publicly funded formulary. At Queen's University, Dr. Gill has participated as a member of the Senate Advisory Research Committee from 2009 to 2012, and he has served on the Department of Medicine Promotions Committee.
