Biography

Sudhir Kathuria is an experienced independent clinician specializing in Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology. He completed his medical degree and radiology residency training at Pt. B.D. Sharma Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences in India. Dr. Kathuria's pursuit of knowledge in public health led him to obtain a master's degree from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York. His extensive fellowship training includes advanced neuroimaging, interventional neuroradiology, and neuroradiology at the University of Rochester, New York. Since joining the Johns Hopkins faculty in April 2008, Dr. Kathuria has made significant contributions to the field and has transitioned to private practice. He has been recognized with several awards including the 2010 Scientific Exhibit Award at the ASSR Annual Symposium for his work on the percutaneous technique for approaching the anterior epidural space for diagnosis and therapeutic interventions, as well as a certificate of merit for diffusion tensor imaging fiber tracking of Wallerian degeneration from the American Roentgen Ray Society Annual Meeting in 2007. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology by the American Board of Radiology.
