Dr. Sudhir Perincheri

Biography

Sudhir Perincheri is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at Yale School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology, along with fellowship training in Hematopathology and Renal/Genitourinary Pathology. His work in the department focuses on the integration of emerging tools in pathology, especially Digital Pathology, and Transplant Pathology. His research is grounded in genetic methods used to identify transcriptional regulators and stem cell biology. He currently collaborates with faculty to explore the applications of Multi-Photon Microscopy in renal and prostate pathology. Additionally, Perincheri is involved in studies utilizing digital analysis tools for diagnostic purposes. He is committed to advancing the understanding of transplant rejection mechanisms through basic science collaborations, aiming to identify biomarkers for early detection and intervention.
